Sunday

Sunday at C3, we talked about going to the next level as a church. I along with others, have this deep stirring that God is about to do something amazing at our church. When I pray, I feel that we are standing on the edge of God moving powerfully. We kicked off our new Sunday night prayer service and had a great turn out of people who are hungry for more God. I really feel that this is the beginning of something new for our church. There is so much more found in Jesus and we are only scratching the surface. I want ALL WE CAN HANDLE OF JESUS. My prayer is that a renewed hunger for Jesus fills our church.

Sunday

Today we had a good Sunday. The services went well as we baptized 3 and had 5 receive Christ! It never ceases to amaze me how Jesus changes lives. Later in the afternoon, we had an "ALL LEADERS" meeting. This is where we meet with those who are leading a serving opportunity within the church. We have a couple of key leaders who are stepping up to take C3 to the next level. Of course with Brent Salyers coming on staff as our "Family Life Dir." Also, a 1st Impressions Coordinator, to oversee most of what goes on on Sunday morning. As well as a "Connections" team leader. She will build a team to "connect" with people on a Sunday morning on a deeper level than just a "greeter." All in all, God is bringing us the right people in His time to fulfill the vision that He is giving. Then at 7pm, we had about 25 show up to pray. It was cool as we spent the last 15min praying in our new unfinished sanctuary!

Sunday

Becky Medina did a great job today speaking on mothers day. She had all of our kids the week before, draw pictures and write how much their mom's love them. Then we scanned the pics and had them on the scrolling slides pre-service and on our bulletin. Also, today the kids all got little pots with dirt and the moms in the big service got seeds to plant in them. Becky's message title was "I'm my mothers garden", which dealt with how mothers plant and invest seeds in their kids lives. Mom's invest, what they are living. We are honored to have Becky on our team. The podcast of her message should be up on www.myC3church.com shortly.

Sunday

I'm excited about this Sunday for several reasons. First, I am speaking on "missions". This will be C3's first real service, totally dedicated to missions. We will challenge our people to give (applied through a new church planter who we will take an offering for) and to go (applied through signing up for our missions trip to Nicaragua). Also, our church will get to hear about the 14 missionaries that we currently support. Secondly, we are having a baptism service this Sunday and have a couple people who are very excited to show their obedience to Christ. Thirdly, we are launching a new season of "Community Groups" through a Group Link, immediately following our service. This will be a lunch and sharing of all the new groups that are launching and give people an opportunity to meet leaders and get plugged in. I'm totally stoked about this Sunday, it should be good.
