Forum

Fort the past 3 days I was able to be a part of the the Ohio Ministry Networks, "Forum" conference. I was honored to lead the worship there with some great friends and good musicians. I truly enjoyed the teaching of the teachers and gleaned some great wisdom from their words and their lives.
Side note: It's easy to be teachable when you go to a conference for the reason of learning and are looking to do so. It is another level to be teachable all day, every day by everything around you. How teachable are you? Can you only learn from certain people at certain times?

Forum

Spent the first part of this week with our C3 executive staff at a ministers conference called the "The Forum." We got to connect with the speakers Scott Wilson, Justin Lathrop and Shane Walters from the Oaks in Dallas, as well as Gene Rencone from Colorado. The sessions have been rich and seeing friends has been amazing well. I also got to lead the worship with several pastors from throughout the state.
I can't wait to go back and try to sift through all this new info and try to apply as much as I can, because THERE IS NO GROWTH WITHOUT APPLICATION!

The Forum

Mon - Wed of this week is being spent at our Ohio Assembly of God Pastor's conference called "the Forum." It is always great to see old friends and to hear stories of trials and triumphs. I had the opportunity to help teach/lead 2 sessions geared for ministers 40 & under. I also got to play in the tournaments during the free time. I played my dad in the championship ping pong game and stacked my team for the basketball tourney. The Lord shone His favor upon me! Anyway, in the session with young leaders we talked about obstacles that are faced by younger pastors. How we must be earn the right to be heard and to help our leaders fulfill their vision. We also, talked about the heart and motive behind how and why we lead. Tomorrow, we will talk about many of the answers to the obstacles. We are going to use a young Sr. Pastor that went to a more traditional church and how he has brought change the right way.
