District Council

I had a great time at the Ohio District Council. It is always good to see friends from all over the state. I had the opportunity as the presbyter (overseer) of the Central area to be a part of the Ordination service and to pray over my friend Mark. I account that as truly a high privilege. I still remember when I was ordained and prayed over by the leadership. I literally felt like I could take on hell with a squirt gun and win!......and I still want to live that way today.

District Council

Today begins our district council for all the ministers of the Assemblies of God in Ohio. We kicked it off with a golf tournament and had a nice day for it. It is great to see friends and catch up with them. Now I'm sitting at a Panera with Gary Fowler our Executive Director and going to dream a little about vision for C3......while drinking a smoothie.

District Council

Sitting in the back row in a meeting that will decide the new leader of the Ohio Assemblies of God. I along with others, are praying for God to lead us in the voting. Time will tell. I'm so glad that God is in control of the outcome. Just like in the New Testament, where Godly leaders would pray for the direction of leadership, so do we today.
