lost
Yesterday, my computer hard drive crashed. I thought I was backing everything up on our server, but it looks now as if it wasn't. So everything I did for the past 3-4 years is now gone....forever. The people at the Apple store gave me a new hard drive and software and had great customer service. And so is life! I guess I'll need to come up with new ideas and can't rely on anything from the past. I choose to look at this....as a new chapter in my life, but you can bet, I will backup everything from now on.

Depending on how much the data is worth to you, you can sometimes have a data recovery service get some/most/all of your data back from a "dead" hard drive.
